New Orleans Cocktail and Food History Tour

Below is a two minute and seven second video our time at the Cocktail and Food History Tour.

My friends and I had a great time walking around New Orleans trying the food and drinks. Also, we learned the history of New Orleans. We went to six different places,

  1. Red Fish Grill: Cat 5 Hurricane, Alligator Sausage & Seafood Gumbo, and Turkey, Duck, and Chicken Gumbo.
  2. Bourbon House: Frozen Bourbon Milk Punch, Smoked Shrimp & Crab Boudin Balls, Muffuletta Flatbread, and Po-Boy.
  3. Pepper Palace
  4. Leah’s Pralines: Bacon Pecan Brittle
  5. Tableau: French 75
  6. Cane & Table: Daiquiri, Pork skins, and Plantains

I recommend going on this excursion if you are a food and history fanatic, and this tour costs $140 per person. For more info, go to https://www.viator.com/tours/New-Orleans/Combo-Cocktail-and-Food-History-Tour/d675-6484P3

Stuph’D Beignets and Burgers

My friend found this restaurant on Instagram, and she wanted to give it a try. When we walked in, the server greeted us. We ordered a lot of beignets for us and my other friends at the Airbnb. The cost of the two beignets ranged from $6-18.50.

We ordered…

  • Philly Cheesecake ($14.50)
  • Creole Crawfish ($16.00)
  • Strawberry ($11.50)
  • Berries($11.50)
  • Sweet Potato Pie ($11.50)
  • Cheesecake ($12.50)
  • Sweet Potato Cheesecake ($12.50)

They cooked our beignets when we ordered, so we had to wait. When the beignets were ready, they were hot, soft, fresh, and delicious. I would go back and try more of their flavors.
